Making Connections - Person to Person (Interpersonal Connection Sessions)

The power of community! Meet individuals like yourself who share similar situations living with or caring for someone with a neurological condition, and learn from their personal experiences and knowledge. Then share a few ideas yourself. What you know might make a difference in someone’s life.

Plenary and Educational Sessions

Cornerstone educational sessions will be led by our team of health professionals, researchers and service providers. This extensive program will cover topics of interest to all members of the hydrocephalus community, comprised of interactive sessions, research updates, and educational seminars.

Presentations will be offered through a high-level program including plenary sessions, panels, workshops with open discussion, and small round tables to allow for intimate learning opportunities on topics such as diagnosis, treatment and living with hydrocephalus. Learn the best strategies and share your insights for living and coping effectively with hydrocephalus.

The preliminary program for HA CONNECT 2026 will be available in January 2026.

Get ready for a hands-on experience like no other! Touch a shunt, perform an ETV, and measure CSF flow. Our exhibitors will showcase innovative products, offering you the chance to ask questions and explore cutting-edge advancements in hydrocephalus treatment. Kids Camp

HA CONNECT has a place for everyone! While you attend conference sessions and connect with other adults, your child can enjoy a fun-filled experience at Kids Camp. Designed for children ages 3-11, with or without hydrocephalus, this program offers exciting activities and the opportunity to build friendships that may last a lifetime.

Family Dinner Dance

Join us for a heartwarming evening of great food, lively music, and unforgettable moments. The Family Dinner Dance is a time to celebrate our community, reconnect with familiar faces, and welcome new friends. With a joyful atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to laugh, dance, and share stories, this event is all about celebrating our community and creating lasting memories.

Talent Show

We know you have it in you – so now it’s time to show it off! Announcing HA CONNECT’s Talent Show! This popular event kicks off our family Dinner Dance on Saturday night. This event is open to all conference participants. Bring your taps shoes, magic tricks, or whatever your talent may be and prepare to WOW us! The stage is yours!
