Conference Tracks
At HA CONNECT we recognize that hydrocephalus impacts the entire family, that’s why we’ve created a variety of tracks tailored to meet the unique needs of each family member, from children to adults. Each track provides a space for connection, education, and support, ensuring that every family member has the resources they need.

Kids Camp (Ages 3-11)
Our Kids Camp is all about fun, adventure, and learning! This engaging program provides a safe, supportive space for younger children to connect with peers while learning about hydrocephalus in an age-appropriate way. Through games, crafts, group activities, yoga, and even a hands-on brain lab, kids will discover they’re not alone—and that there are many ways to thrive, grow, and have fun.
Sibling Track
Being a sibling of someone with hydrocephalus can come with its own set of challenges. The Sibling Track offers a unique opportunity for brothers and sisters to come together, share experiences, and learn how to navigate their emotions. Through interactive sessions, peer support, and fun activities, siblings will walk away with tools to better understand their role and how to cope in their own way.

Teen Track
For teens, living with hydrocephalus can feel isolating. This track blends education and emotional support with interactive sessions on advocacy, mental health, friendships, and planning for the future. Highlights include a hands-on brain lab and a chance to go head-to-head with neurosurgeons in a fun, engaging challenge. Teens will connect with others who get it—and walk away more confident and empowered.
Parent Track
Supporting a child with hydrocephalus can feel overwhelming and uncertain at times. This track is here to help. Designed for parents and caregivers, it offers guidance on managing emotional ups and downs, navigating cognitive and developmental challenges, planning for the transition to adult care, and learning from others who’ve been there.

Adult Track
Living with hydrocephalus as an adult can bring a unique set of challenges—many of which are misunderstood or overlooked. This track offers practical tools and expert guidance to support day-to-day life and long-term well-being. Sessions will explore memory and executive function, mental health, chronic pain, access to care, neuropsychology, and workplace rights—empowering attendees to better understand their condition and advocate for themselves.
NPH Track
Normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) has its own set of challenges. This track provides tailored education for individuals living with NPH and their caregivers, with sessions focused on diagnosis, cognitive changes, treatment decision-making, real-world strategies from occupational therapy, and updates from the largest clinical trial on NPH to date. You’ll hear from both medical experts and people living with NPH for a well-rounded perspective.

All Ages Track
Living with hydrocephalus impacts the whole family, and sometimes the best way to learn is together. The All Ages Track is designed for families who want to share the experience, offering sessions that provide something for everyone. Topics include general hydrocephalus education, managing complications like headaches and seizures, understanding shunt failure, accessing government programs, staying active, and learning how to advocate for yourself or a loved one.
Research Track
The Research Track brings together the latest in hydrocephalus research, offering insights from top experts in the field. Whether you’re a researcher, healthcare provider, or patient, this track is your gateway to cutting-edge developments in treatment and care. Sessions will explore innovations in drug and device development, shunt obstruction research, major clinical trials, pediatric research advancements, and how patients can play an active role in driving progress.
