Meet our 2026 Keynote Speaker: Katie Lucas
Katie Lucas, President, Lucas Oil
Katie Lucas is President of Lucas Oil and is responsible for blending day-to-day operations with long-term strategic goals, providing oversight of company policies, procedures, campaigns and growth initiatives. Additionally, Katie leads all of Lucas Oil's philanthropic and community engagement endeavors.
In her role, Katie, along with her husband Morgan, are entrusted to lead the Lucas Family business into the future and to develop the long-term company's strategic direction, vision, and growth as a solutions-driven, customer-centric company.
In her previous roles as Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy and Philanthropy, she worked to expand the Lucas Oil footprint across various markets, implemented a corporate social responsibility program concentrated on philanthropy and employee engagement, and actively championed projects to elevate Lucas Oil's legacy and its commitment to customers and its community. Under Katie's leadership, Lucas Oil has been recognized as one of USA Today's Most Trusted Brands, Newsweek's America's Most Loved Brands, Louisville Courier's Top Workplaces for Culture Excellence and earned Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accreditation. Lucas Oil was also named the Inland Empire AFP Outstanding Corporation for its exceptional commitment to Loma Linda University Children's Hospital and the Culture of Good Community Impact Award by Culture of Good Inc.
Katie is currently the Board Chair of the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation, on the Board of Trustees at the Indianapolis Zoo and on the Boards of the Indiana Destination Development Corporation (IDDC) and the Grit & Grace Nation Foundation. Katie is on the National Leadership Council at the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation as well as the Indiana University Women's Philanthropy Leadership Council. Katie is a Founding Member and the Inaugural Chair of Called to Care, a Circle of Impact for Peyton Manning Children's Hospital. She was also the co-chair of Carmel, Indiana Mayor Sue Finkam's 2024 Transition Team. Katie is a past Board Member and Big Sister of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana as well as Co-Chair of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Luncheon and Jane Seymour's Open Hearts Foundation Gala.
Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She started her career with the Indianapolis Colts in corporate sales and moved to Creative Marketing Solutions as the Director of Business Development before joining Lucas Oil Products in 2012.
Katie was named to the 2022 Indianapolis Business Journal's Forty Under 40 Class for her professional accomplishments and leadership in the community. In 2023, Katie was named Indy's Best and Brightest in the Manufacturing, Retail and Services category and was the recipient of the Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award by the Crossroads of America Council. In 2025, she was named to the Indiana 250 list of the state's most influential leaders, honored as a Woman of Influence by the Indianapolis Business Journal and recognized as a C-Suite Award winner for her service-oriented leadership. Katie received Indiana's Outstanding Philanthropist Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2025.
