We understand that registration for HA CONNECT can be costly. Our financial goal for HA CONNECT is only to break even. We know the importance of gathering our community and providing you with educational resources, and we try to do that as affordably as possible.
In order to put on a successful conference of this size, expenses include, but are not limited to, meeting room space, technology, and providing food and beverage for conference attendees. It is always our goal to offer an informative and effective conference that is as cost-manageable for our community as possible. HA works to minimize the prices of registration fees by obtaining other funding sources through in-kind donations, sponsors, and exhibitors. HA also offers financial assistance to help attend HA CONNECT for those in need.
We have decided not to record or live stream our conference this year. While it can be a valuable resource, the cost associated with these services is quite high, and we want to allocate our resources toward enhancing the overall on-site conference experience for our attendees. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can join us in person to make the most of this year's event.
Kids Camp is offered to all children with or without hydrocephalus between the ages of 3 and 11 years old. The kids spend their time engaging in activities, learning valuable skills and get to attend interactive workshops and off-site events.
The group is run by experienced volunteers who will provide the best care for your child or children.
By signing your child up for Kids Camp, it allows the parent or guardian to attend the conference sessions and socialize with other adults while their child is having a wonderful experience with people who may become lifelong friends.
The dress code for the conference is casual. Attendees are able to dress in any appropriate attire that is comfortable for them. Please keep in mind, hotel meeting rooms are invariably chilly, so we encourage attendees to bring a sweater or light jacket with them to the sessions and events held in doors.

We want to create a safe and welcoming space at the conference that respects the practices and distancing people need. To that end, we welcome those who want to wear masks, to do so, and we will have them available at registration as well. We ask that all conference attendees respect people's right to wear masks and their social distancing preferences. Per medical professional guidance, should you feel sick, we ask that you:
- Refrain from attending conference events and seek medical advice. You can find pharmacies, minute clinics, and more on our conference mobile app. Download our conference app by clicking here.
- Inform the conference organizers as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our community safe.
